Abstract

The beauty industry is rapidly growing thanks to digital marketplace platforms that can expand cosmetic
products to remote areas and overseas. These digital platforms also foster the growth of new cosmetic
brands. Basafa is a new cosmetics and beauty brand that recently started its venture in early 2023 by
launching its first products, "Beauty Water" and "Strong Acid Water." Basafa intends to promote its
products and brand name by participating in exhibitions or bazaars for Micro, Small, and Medium
Enterprises (MSMEs) that it will attend. To achieve this, Basafa needs an attractive media branding and
display booth to captivate visitors and boost its sales. The primary medium for this design is a backdrop
banner. The objective of this research is to create a media branding design that Basafa will use in its
booth. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research, starting with interviews,
questionnaires, documentation, and literature review to gather data. The collected data is then
processed into creative directions and generates the keywords "minimalist" and "clean." The visual
concept "Minimalist Natural" is formed with key elements such as leaves, water droplets, and wave
shapes. A sans serif font is used to support the minimalist concept with high readability, ensuring visitors
have no difficulty reading the content.
