Abstract

Firm value is an indicator used in the investor's perspective on the company with firm value considered to describe the state of the company. In obtaining the maximum company value, there are several factors that influence it, so it is necessary to analyze the factors that affect company value. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, capital structure, company size, and liquidity on firm value in construction and building sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. This study uses a type of quantitative research. The population used is the construction and building sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, so that 8 companies were obtained as research samples. The data analysis method used in this research is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that profitability has a positive influence on firm value and capital structure, firm size, and liquidity have no influence on firm value. While together profitability, capital structure, firm size, and liquidity have an influence on firm value.
