Abstract

Assessment of the company's financial performance can be done using ratio analysis. This research uses liquidity, solvency, activity, and profitability ratios to assess the financial performance of advertising, printing, and media sub-sector companies listed on the IDX before and during Covid-19 in 2018-2022. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with documentation techniques that take data on the company's financial statements. The study uses cross sectional and time series approaches to find out how the company's financial performance. The results of the cross-sectional study showed that the companies with the best performance were PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk and PT Surya Citra Media Tbk in liquidity ratio, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk in solvency ratio, PT MNC Studios International Tbk and PT Surya Citra Media Tbk in activity ratio, and PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk in profitability ratio. Meanwhile, with the time series approach during Covid-19, the liquidity, solvency, and activity ratios of most companies experienced a decrease in performance, only the profitability ratio increased as a result of changes in people's behavior patterns in using the media.
